For our service on Mothers Day we worshipped through service by providing 22,250 meals to help the mom's of Sierre Leone feed their kids!  It was a great morning.  No sermon, but see discussion questions below for your small group time this week.

  1. Does the story of the sheep and the goats seem like a parable or a prophecy? Why? 

  2. Jesus lists 6 items of action that He will use as a basis of judgement, hunger, thirst, stranger (loneliness), need clothes, sick, in prison. While all of these can be taken literally, how might they be taken metaphorically? 

  3. Which of the 6 categories do you find to be a more natural fit for you to serve? 

  4. How are the “sheep” and goats” similar? Different? 

  5. Brainstorm an action plan for your group to serve in one or more of these areas of need. What? When? Where?
